The most epic place which any tourist visiting Mysore don’t want miss out is the Mysore palace. Mysore palace also known as the Amba Vilas palace was the official residence of the Wodeyars. Chamundhi hill is a prominent landmark of Mysore city, which is visible from anywhere in the city. The hilltop is the place where the Goddess Chamundeshwari shrine is located. Another main attraction of the hill is 5 meter tall Nandi statue, a third largest Nandi in India.
Brindavan Garden, is one of the main attractions of Mysore tourism. This garden lies adjoining to the Krishna Raja Sagar dam that is constructed across Kaveri river. It is also know as St. Joseph’s Cathedral Church, is inspired by Cologne Cathedral and is constructed in 1936. It is one of the tallest churches in Asia and is built in Neo Gothic style. The twin spires of the church is about 175 ft tall, which can be spotted from far distance.
